The Good Bakers mobile application allows users to quickly order their favourite goods, schedule a safe and contactless in store pick-up and book a table.
The Bakers wants to develop a product that will improve ordering experience of its users; increase customer satisfaction and thus positively effect sales.
The goal of this project was to Ideate solutions and create prototypes of a product which development process and iterations are based on the gained insights from user research studies and usability tests.
In this design process, I went for a goal-directed design approach that helped me move along through the timeline smoothly. I’ve used qualitative research methods that proved to be the most effective during our design process. I’ve tried to build a good foundation to help if any issues come along the process. I’ve started by asking some generic but useful internal questions.

I’ve used affinity mapping to identify the general scope of The Good Bakers and also to decide which direction to take with the product.

Most participants reserve the products by calling the store
Most participants use their phone to buy online
Some participants experience trouble when the product they wanted was out of stock

Before moving onto high fidelity wireframes and mocks, I wanted to get a feel for what the core of the app would look like when put in front of me.
Whith this preliminar version of the wireframes, I was able to workout some of the technical issues that would not be viable in The Good Baker, as well as tone down our «blue-sky» screens into more realisitic ones.
